The EDGE Requires Windows 7 w/ SP 1

When installing The EDGE 10.7.5 onto a Windows 8 Machine that previously had The EDGE 10.7.3 installed onto it, you can (and probably will) encounter this issue.

If you get the following error message when trying to run The EDGE:
“The EDGE requires Windows 7 w/ Service Pack 1 or later.”

– Press “OK” to the message.
– Find The EDGE Icon, Right-Click and choose “Properties”
– Go to the Compatibility Tab, and UNCHECK “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”
– Click “APPLY”
– Click “OK”
– Then, double click Icon to open The EDGE and all should be fine in the world of estimating!
