When SQL Doesn’t Start

Problem

SQL not starting, which in turn causes or can cause a “Named Pipes Provider error…”

Solution

– Go to your computer management console.
– Click —-> Start/Run/Services.msc) Then Maximize the window…
– Scroll Down until you find SQL Server(TheEDGE)
– Right-Click and choose Properties
– Click on the Recovery Tab
– Set the first, second, and Subsequent failures to “Restart the Service”
